Small Business Owners and Non Profits will learn how to market masterfully, and
creatively exploit the media to survive and thrive during tough times.

10 class meetings will consist of lectures by Marketing Guru, Ter Scott, “Bricks to
Clicks
TM” Marketing Consultant, and author of Personal PR, Getting What You
Want through Better Personal Relations!”  Classes include examples of ready- to-
use resources with techniques proven by today’s innovative and successful small to
large companies worldwide; both at the physical location and online.

Participants should have a willing desire to learn to improve their business
marketing and implement  the optional weekly assignments.

Cloquet Area classes will be 10 weeks at cost of $50: Thursdays Date(s): 9/15,

Can I register for one location and attend the other in case I miss a class? Sorry,
because of logistics, this is not possible.

Do I need to attend every class? No, you will pay for the entire fee (which is a
fraction of what any one of these single sessions would be elsewhere) so you can
choose to attend some and not attend others. Each class is content rich with
separate marketing subjects and include special marketing opportunities worth
much more than the price of the entire 10 weeks. You could pay much more than
$50 per each hour class for this information elsewhere. Bottom line, attend all
classes or pick and choose! Handouts and some online resources will be available
for anything you've missed.

BASIC OUTLINE OF WHAT WILL BE COVERED:

Each class will be “filled” with a load of useful information for the participants.

1.        Open each session (except the first class which will have an “intro” and
explanation of how the weeks will progress during this time) with answers to any
emailed questions and my comments on the optional emailed assignments from the
previous week’s topic(s),

2.        Present the day’s subject.

3.        Conclude with an optional assignment which also asks for emailed questions
pertaining to the following week’s topic. In this way the class moves along nicely
and I’m always answering the student’s pertinent details.  

CLASS 1        From Bricks to Clicks, getting your house in order, who are you (your
business)?

CLASS 2         Who are your customers?

CLASS 3        Newspaper, Shoppers, Magazines, related

CLASS 4        Radio, podcasts, Internet Radio, and related

CLASS 5        TV., Public Access, Cable, etc. (Duluth will have a “mini” Conclusion to
Part 1)


CLASS 6        (Duluth will have a “mini” Introduction to Part 2)
Direct Mail, Flyers, Newsletters, and related

CLASS 7        Yellow pages; physical and online

CLASS 8        Imprinted Promotional and I.D. Products, Calendars and Apparel

CLASS 9        Internet and Social Marketing

CLASS 10        Your Marketing Plan, Ad Agencies, Public Relations/Cause
